PLANET's ADSL Ethernet modem/routers, the ADE-4110A for Annex A (POTS) systems and the ADE-4110B for Annex B (ISDN) systems integrate DSL modem, router and Ethernet switch functionality.
The high-performance modem allows high-speed data communications over existing telephone wire. The ADE-4110 series provides industry-leading interoperability with DSL access networks worldwide by compatibility with ITU-T 992.1(G.dmt), ITU-T 992.2(G.lite) and ANSI T1.413 Issue 2 standards
Both the ADE-4110A and the ADE-4110B have built-in NAT routers, eliminating the need to purchase additional broadband routers. All advanced broadband router functions such as NAT, virtual server, DMZ, firewall functions and more are all included.
By use of industry-standard Ethernet interfaces, the ADE 4110 series provides simple interface connections: plug the RJ-45 cable into an Ethernet port and the ADSL cable in the ADSL wall socket - the ADE-4110 series enables even first time users to set up a DSL connection to the Internet in just minutes!! Using a web GUI, the connection can be configured with minimum effort.

INTERNET ACCESS FEATURES
Shared Internet Access. All users on the LAN can access the Internet through ADE-4110, using only a single external IP Address. (Routing mode)

Fixed or Dynamic IP Address. On the Internet (WAN port) connection, ADE-4110 supports both Dynamic IP Address (IP Address is allocated on connection) and Fixed IP Address.
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
Virtual Servers. This feature allows Internet users to access Internet servers which located on LAN side. The required setup is quick and easy.
DMZ. One (1) PC on your local LAN can be configured to allow unrestricted 2-way communication with Servers or individual users on the Internet. This provides the ability to run programs which demand for bi-directional communication.
LAN FEATURES
Built-in 4-port switch. Four Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDI-X Ethernet RJ-45 ports are used to connect office network or workstations.
DHCP Server support. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol provides a dynamic IP address to PCs and other devices upon request. ADE-4110 can act as a DHCP Server for devices on your local LAN.
CONFIGURATION & MANAGEMENT
Easy Setup.Use WEB browser from anywhere to begin the configuration.
Remote Management. PLANET ADE-4110 can be managed from any PC on your LAN. And, if the Internet connection exists, it can also (optionally) be configured via the Internet.
System Diagnostic & Log:7 layer diagnostics with links to help pages and system event logs can greatly help network administrator solve network problem.
SECURITY FEATURES
Two-level password protected Configuration. Two-level password protection can provide stronger protection to prevent unauthorized users from modifying the configuration data and settings.
NAT Protection.An intrinsic side effect of NAT (Network Address Translation) technology is that by allowing all LAN users to share a single IP address, the location and even the existence of each PC is hidden. From the external viewpoint, there is no network, only a single device - ADE-4110.
