The PLANET FGSW-2402 is 24-port 10/100Mbps and 2 GbE-slot Switch. This Switch provides 24 10/100Mbps ports and 2 Gigabit expansion slots for optional modules. The FGSW-2402 is a high-performance Switch that provides users with high-speed network connections and store-and-forward architecture. That is capable of eliminating faulty packets.
With an intelligent address recognition algorithm, the FGSW-2402 could recognize up to 8K different MAC address and enables filtering and forwarding at full wire speeds. With its 8.8Gbps non-blocking Switch fabric, the FGSW-2402 can also provide a local, high bandwidth and simplifies the task of upgrading your LAN to cater for increasing bandwidth demands.
With two Gigabit fiber/copper optional modules, FGSW-2402 provides an efficient and cost-effective method for improving performance and eliminating network congestion. The optional modules can be 10/100Base-TX, 100Base-FX, 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX /LX fiber-optic interfaces.
