The new smart switch family now adds a modular members enriching the product range, the GSW-601S, six-port 10/100/1000Mbps plus one open-slot Ethernet Smart Switch.
With the 16G non-blocking, 8-K MAC Address table, 802.3x, full-duplex flow control, the GSW-601S offer the wire-speed packet transfer performance without fear of loss packets.
Up to eight RJ-45 copper interfaces support 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation for optimal speed's detection, through RJ-45, Category 5 or 5e cables. MDI/MDI-X auto detection for direct wire connection to any Ethernet devices, no matter it is a workstation, hub or switch.
At the mean time, choice of module with 2-port 1000Base-SX provides the Gigabit speed over fiber-optic and the network extension.
The console interface helps to have the basic management of the switch like per port speed, duplex and flow-control setting, port-based Virtual LAN, port mirroring and port trunking.

Backbone Switch
With the non-blocking design, to build a Gigabit high-bandwidth switched network is as easy as install a Fast Ethernet network. With support for VLAN, port trunking, the GSW-601S can direct connect to the FGSW-2620S/ FGSW-1820S, the department switches and /or the backbone servers.
Gigabit Extension Switch
As the open slot installed, either two RJ-45 Gigabit copper or two 1000Base-SX ports is added to the basic unit. With the Gigabit SX module installed, the switch can easily extend the distance up to 500 meters away to your backbone Gigabit switch or remote Gigabit Ethernet server(s) as remote, secured backup server(s).
