Print to your printer wirelessly using PLANET 802.11g Wireless Print Server, the FPS-2PUWG. This device provides a built-in high performance wireless interface (transfer rate up to 54Mbps) for users to enjoy the convenience of wireless printing. The Print Server supports both "Ad-Hoc mode" (point-to-point wireless networks) and "Infrastructure mode" (using your existing Wireless access point). Users can make choice to select the appropriate mode for their own wireless network. Compliant with 802.11b/g, you can also use FPS-2PUWG with your exist 802.11b network.
In addition to the Wireless and Ethernet interfaces supported, the FPS-2PUWG provides a USB port for connecting to the most popular USB printers, and a Parallel port for printers with a Parallel interface.
Compatible with all major operating systems, the Print Server is configurable through a Web Browser and a management utility for various operating systems. It supports many network printing methods, including Windows Peer-to-Peer printing, Windows SMB printing, Netware 5.x and Windows server based Queues printing, LPD printing, Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) and AppleTalk for Macintosh.

Web-based Interface. The Web-based interface provides an easy method of configuration in TCP/IP networks.
Compact Size. This allows the Print Server to be used even where space is limited.
Remote Management Tools. A variety of software tools are provided. In most environments, both the Print Server and attached Bi-Directional printers can be configured remotely.
Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) Support. FPS-2PUWG can act as IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) Server, allowing clients, suppliers, colleagues and others to print to your printer from anywhere on the Internet. Windows IPP Client software is also supplied.
