The TL-SM301 series Fiber Module Cards are introduced for extending transfer distance, attached to our smart switches. They can extend the distance to several kilometers even tens of kilometers which can basically satisfy the distance requirements of LAN. Users can choose whether and which items to use the fiber modules according to the demand in order to lower cost.

There are many kinds of fiber modules. Based on port type, the fiber modules can be divided as the following kinds:

• Complies with IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3z, SFF-8053 GBIC standard
• Support full-duplex
• Plug-and-Play
• LED indicators show the operation state of the fiber module
• TL-SM301 doesn¡¯t support the Pull or Plug with power on switches
• TL-SM301GB must use with the TL-SM371 series GBIC standard fiber modules, TL-SM371 supports Pull-or-Plug with power on switches
• Power: internal power from switches
• Suitable Switches: TL-SL2226P, TL-SL2226P+, TL-SL3226P and the coming gigabit switches

• Storage Temperature: -40 C~70 C (-40 F~158 F)
• Operating Humidity: 10%~90% non-condensing
